Indivisible “Trumpcare Ten”
In the tense days leading up to the Senate vote on the “skinny repeal” of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a handful of undecided Senators held the fate of ACA in their hands. The Indivisible Project launched a spirited, high-energy social campaign to activate constituents of the “Trumpcare Ten,” 10 Republican senators that Indivisible believed could be convinced to vote against the repeal. With call scripts, digital toolkits and event registrations, Indivisible drove a wave of constituent activism to save ACA. The results? Two of the Trumpcare Ten-- Senators Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins-- voted against the repeal, paving the way for Senator John McCain's dramatic early morning vote that saved the ACA.
